I Could Be a Crazy Cat Lady

Hello, lovelies!

So I have a cat. And I have a camera. And this often results in mini photo sessions...with my cat. It sounds like a strange hobby, but these pictures are proof that cats can make good photo subjects. I present you with: Shadow, the cat model.

Shadow loves looking out the window at squirrels which means: that's right, I get to take pictures of her very intriguing eyeballs.

Although the colors were not changed very much using a black and white setting (Shadow being a grey cat), the b&w setting on my camera helps enhance the details in a picture. Shadow has already added the diva element.

This was an accidental success. Most blurry photos are just that: blurry. But I rather like the blurriness of this picture, somehow it looks elegant instead of sloppy.

I really liked the angle of this picture, I feel like it changes this little house cat into some kind of majestic lioness. I also love that you can see all the little hairs on Shadow's paws.

This last one is not meant to be artistic or fancy, only capturing a hilarious moment. I was trying to put clean sheets on my bed when Shadow decided she had to start playing in the sheets. This was taken after she finally discovered the mysterious path out of the sheets.

I just really like my cat. Maybe too much.

In case you weren't aware: If you'd like to enlarge a picture, you can simply click on the pictures and they will become full size. Helpful if you want to see more details in a picture.

Hope you're having a fantastic day!
