An Introduction: A la Plage

Hello! As my first blog post, I'll do a short introduction: I'm Sally, and I love taking pictures, so I've decided to start blogging about them. Thus far, I am improvising this whole blogging scheme, but hopefully the quality of the blogs will improve with time. My main goal is to share the pictures that I take, somewhat of a creative outlet for me. I sincerely hope this turns out to be a mutual enjoyment thing.

These pictures are from a trip to Ocean Isle Beach a few months ago:

This was taken around the grassy parts of the beach. These plants were fluttering in the wind and I was lucky to get a clear shot when they were moving so much.

The trip was in October, and the leaves were starting to change, as seen in the picture above. There were tiny snail shells (I think they were, at least) hanging onto the leaves.

It was cloudy that day, and I love that this picture captures the puffy, dark clouds and the waves of the ocean. The clouds give the picture a stormier feel, making the waves seem bigger and angrier when in reality, they were nothing out of the ordinary.

This may not be the most creatively angled or strangely lit picture, but I simply appreciate that I was able to capture the birds flying by the shore.

Well, these were my favorite pictures from that trip! I hope to post more pictures soon, and I hope you're having a great day!
